I am currently a Master’s student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I am nearing completion of my thesis which revolves around rendering realistic and physically accurate fluid flows over arbitrary terrain (ie rivers) in real-time.
Aside from my academic work I am also the author of (or am involved with) a few open source projects, the major one being Gizmo Daemon — a Linux utility for scripting and controlling applications with alternate input devices.
I also maintain a development / technology related blog.
